The 70th Snape Memorial Lecture was held on 15 November at the Athenaeum. This year’s lecture was given by experienced coastal and harbour engineer, Keith Mackie. Titled ‘Thalassophilia - For the Love of the Sea’, his lecture covered the land, the sea, and engineering, and the development of engineering and engineering theory through the lens of his career.
